I bought this cooktop to replace my ten year old Kitchenaid cooktop.I love the smooth surface and the choice of 1-10 heat settings. No more knobs to clean around! By far the best feature for me is that you can lock the on /off. I have two dogs and one of them thinks it is a challenge to reach anything that might be cooking or sitting on the surface.

This cook top made by Kitchen Aid is a worst design product i ever bought .The main thing is its responsiveness .
It won't respond to your heat level setting right away . When we try to lower to heat level , it has a long time delay , everything spill out . We just can NOT reduce the heat level !!! And then , it's so hard to clean up .
All the ring for zone , number ,display is hard to see .

I™™m satisfied with my KitchenAid cooktop. I just have to remember to start on level five because the Cooktop gets hot quick.

This stovetop is a major upgrade from what we had previously. The touchpad is one the best features. It™™s very responsive and works great. No more knobs to take off and clean around.
The stovetop also heats so well. Boiling water takes no time. Plus the simmer feature and zone selection are great as well!
10/10 would recommend

Easy to use, efficient, and has a sleek, stylish design! Love being able to gauge my heat with numbers. The Simmer and Keep Warm functions are also nice

While beautiful to look at this cooktop has several issues number 1 is turning itself on - I have awakened several days with a random burner on full blast including this morning. I do not recommend this and I don't feel safe with it in my home

I have been using the cook top for a couple of weeks. Not exactly what I was hoping for. Doesn't measure up to the white one i replaced (warning to not store glass jars above the cook top is a valid one!) Markings are not as easy to see/read; both controls and element rings. They heat up extra fast and hot and they adjust slowly when trying to decrease heat; I've overcooked multiple dishes already.

I like the new cooktop fine. My old cook top was failing and it was urgent that I replace it. As with any new appliance there is some adjustment. My old cooktop was more able to see the eye with the outline around the eyes and lighting is more dim. All these features may be by design but I like the more visible lighting.

I"m still trying to get used to using this new cooktop. My old KitchenAid cooktop was much quicker to reduce heat levels (which I liked -- it paralleled my experiences with gas top stoves from years ago). The few times I've used it, I've had boil-overs from oatmeal preparation making a MESS on the cooktop. Also, I'm bummed that off-white cooktops are no longer available. I'm not a big fan of this black color. Keeping it spot-free is a challenge, and if I don't buff if after cleaning it, it's very smeared and unattractive.

Very good cooktop. At least one heat zone needs to be smaller in order to fit my smallest pots. That would make it 5-Stars.

Only lasted 2 years before it stopped working and kitchen aid does not have the parts to get it repaired. How can you still offer it but not have parts. Complete garbage

If I could rate 0 stars I would. KitchenAid has failed with this product. Bought it new and hasn™™t worked from day 1. Called for service and the tech never showed up, only a phone call asking what the issue was. After waiting a month with no call about service I called customer support. They advised me to wait a few days while they contacted the tech. Waited a few days with no response. Called back again and customer support told me I would be contacted that day. Yet again no call from KitchenAid or the tech. On the phone today with customer support today for the 5th time and have been on hold for 45min yet again with no explanation. Surely KitchenAid can do better for customer service. Still no cooktop and no clue of when it will be fixed. What a poor excuse for a product and service. Take your money elsewhere. This will be the last KitchenAid product I buy

Have had nothing but trouble with controlling the temperature on each burner. We had a technician out after one month of service and he said the installers did not ™calibrate™ it. He supposedly did, but the problem still exists. Each heating pad still runs way too hot when even when lowering the temperature number. I can boil water on simmer. VERY UNHAPPY WITH THIS PRODUCT!

I ordered 12 months ago finally came in used it for first time put a big scratch onit.
Repair man came ouut to fix and broke electric wire waiting on him to fix.
Wish someone would recommend what type of pans to use.

Takes some getting used to. Lettering on cooktop lack prominent visibility. One has to look closely when making adjustments. I believe the cook top could gain more acceptability if one could read controls better.
