I cannot express that I feel really stupid for not purchasing one sooner. Trying to be cheap; purchasing other mixers and appliances that do kind of what this can do cost me more in the long wrong due to breaking down when I needed them the most; probably could of purchased a couple of Kitchenaid mixers at that rate. This is my second Kitchenaid mixer; when I moved from the cold northeast to the warmth of Florida, I gave my original Artisan 5qt mixer to my granddaughters because they had really gotten into cooking together as a family. I have added the KitchenAid sifter attachment to my purchase, and I have never run out of exciting new ways to bake bread perfectly every time!! Beautiful Machine!

I love the color and the way it works--mostly

I got this for Christmas. It was really the only thing I asked for. And, I do love it! The one thing that bothers me is that sometimes things get stuck under the beater and are not beaten into the mix. So, sometimes I'll get ready to pour a batter into a pan, but find there are still some dry ingredients trapped under the beater that didn't get mixed in. That is a total bummer. But, otherwise, I am in love with my mixer.

I bought this during a liquidation sale because I had always heard KitchenAids were great mixers, and I couldn't be more pleased! It mixes things very well, it's sturdy so you don't need to worry about having it on high speeds. I'd recommend this any day!

Better Than Expected

I have owned my new mixer for two weeks now and have used it four times. First I made Chocolate chip cookies, they came out the best I have ever made, next I made Peanut Butter cookies, the batter was very smooth and the cookies came out great. Third time I made Oatmeal Raisin cookies, it is a very thick recipe and the mixed powered through with no problems and the cookies were perfect. The fourth time I used the mixer was for the reason I bought it, Bread...I was extremely pleased, I used the same recipe I always use but this time no hand kneading, just let the mixer do its thing and about seven minutes later the bread was on its first rise. The Bread came out as good as ever. Overall I am really pleased with my new mixer.
